Among the most frightening aspects of hiring an attorney are the fees. Clients rightfully would like to know, and should know and understand how they are going to be charged for attorney fees and costs. The axiom that “you get what you pay for” is often true with regard to attorneys. Frequently, the least expensive attorney also has the least amount of experience. Attorneys with less experience in a given area of the law will often spend excessive amounts of time on a case, thus resulting in the client ultimately spending as much, or more than would have been required for a more experienced attorney.
